Q: How much do you think about your personal style on a daily basis?
A: You should come to my flat in Paris and you’ll see how much I think about it. It’s a big mess!
Q: Is it important to be interested in fashion as a musician?
A: Yes it’s really important, there are so many links between fashion and music.
I think music definitely inspires fashion. Fashion is an art for me, as is music.
Q: Who is the most stylish musician?
A: David Bowie.
Q: Who is your favorite designer?
A: I love Christian Lacroix, it’s smart. And Jeremy Scott is crazy!
Q:What is your favorite article of clothing in your wardrobe?
A: A white jacket I bought in a second-hand shop.
Q: How is French style different than American style?
A: It’s the ‘French touch’! Same for the food, the French do it better! Fashion is the rhythm of life,
and it’s in the history, in the culture of France.
Q: Does living in Paris inform your style?
A: Yes it’s enriching every day.
Q: What is your favorite place to hang out in Paris?
A: Le Marais is cute! What I love in Paris are the tiny streets and square. It feels like a village.
Q: If you could go on holiday anywhere in the world, where would that be?
A: Tokyo.
Q: What’s your favorite city in the world?
A: Paris.
Q: What’s your biggest vice?
A: I’m partying too much. Is that a vice?
Q: What has been the defining moment of your life so far?
A: The moment I started to be myself.
Q: What inspires you?
A: Everything.
